Wachovia Bank Just Weeks Away From Reentering Credit Card Interchange Fight

Already a defendant in the multi-billion dollar antitrust litigation, Wachovia Bank is getting ready for round two.

Top Tech News reports that "Wachovia has set plans to wade back into the credit-card business after a six-year hiatus, in a bid to challenge soon-to-be-merged Bank of America and other big players in the market. ...On Thursday, MBNA shareholders cleared Bank of America's $36 billion merger offer, setting the stage for the banking giant to move into the upper pantheon in the multi-billion dollar U.S. credit card business."
